Yusuf Güleç:
“Thank you, it’s great to be here! The idea for BulutKlinik came from a simple observation: many clinics and hospitals were bogged down by outdated systems and inefficient workflows. I wanted to create a solution that allowed healthcare providers to focus on what truly matters—delivering exceptional patient care. Digitization was the obvious answer, and I saw an opportunity to lead this transformation in Turkey and beyond.”
FM: “Digitizing healthcare is no small feat. What were some of the biggest challenges you faced while building BulutKlinik?”
Yusuf Güleç:
“There were plenty of challenges, but two stand out. First was convincing clinics to embrace change. Healthcare is a highly regulated and traditional sector, so adopting digital tools required a shift in mindset. We had to demonstrate the tangible benefits of our platform, such as increased efficiency and better patient outcomes. Second was ensuring data security. With sensitive medical information involved, we invested heavily in building a robust system that prioritizes privacy and compliance with regulations.”

“BulutKlinik is designed to be user-friendly and comprehensive. It offers a cloud-based platform that integrates appointment scheduling, patient records, billing, and telemedicine—all in one place. What really sets us apart is our focus on accessibility. The platform is scalable, meaning it works just as well for small clinics as it does for larger hospitals. Plus, with telemedicine, we’re making healthcare more accessible for patients in remote areas, breaking down barriers to care.”
FM: “Telemedicine has become a critical tool in recent years, especially during the pandemic. How did BulutKlinik adapt to meet these new demands?”
Yusuf Güleç:
“The pandemic accelerated the adoption of telemedicine globally, and we were well-prepared to meet that demand. We enhanced our platform to support seamless virtual consultations, integrated secure video conferencing tools, and developed systems for e-prescriptions and digital health records. Our goal was to ensure that both doctors and patients could transition to virtual care without compromising quality.”
FM: “The healthcare sector is evolving rapidly. Where do you see health-tech heading in the next five to ten years?”

“The future of health-tech is incredibly exciting. I see AI and machine learning playing a significant role in diagnostics and personalized care. Wearables and IoT devices will also continue to transform how patients monitor their health and share data with their providers. Additionally, blockchain technology could revolutionize medical data management, making it more secure and interoperable. “There have been many proud moments, but one that stands out is when we received feedback from a clinic in a remote area of Turkey. They told us that our platform had completely transformed how they operated, allowing them to serve more patients with fewer administrative burdens. Knowing that BulutKlinik is making a tangible difference in healthcare delivery is incredibly fulfilling.”
FM: “What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs looking to break into the health-tech industry?”

“Start by deeply understanding the problems you’re trying to solve. Healthcare is complex, and building solutions requires empathy for both patients and providers. Focus on creating value, not just profits, and invest in strong partnerships with medical professionals. Lastly, never underestimate the importance of trust and security—patients’ lives depend on the systems you create, so make sure they’re reliable and safe.”
